We are hiring a Project Manager (Civil Engineer) for a reputed real estate developer. This role involves full project ownership — from planning to on-site execution — ensuring timely delivery, budget control, safety, quality, and coordination across teams . The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of hands-on experience in managing high-rise residential and commercial buildings, preferably on the builder/developer side.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute projects as per defined scope, quality, and deadlines
- Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to timelines, cost, and quality
- Prepare site budgets based on BOQ and baseline program provided by contracts/planning teams
- Generate regular MIS reports for senior management on project progress and challenges
- Maintain thorough documentation and records as per internal policy
- Administer contracts and manage planning, scheduling, and project timelines
- Oversee regular site safety checks and implement HSE standards
- Raise material requisitions and track delivery/usage
- Manage construction teams, vendors, and contractors on-site
- Lead cross-functional coordination with architects, MEP teams, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure site execution meets design, engineering, and architectural specifications
Candidate Requirements
- Education:
B.E. in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute
Postgraduate/trade qualifications (like PMP) are an added advantage - Experience:
Minimum 15 years of project management experience in real estate – particularly high-rise residential or commercial buildings - Industry:
Must have worked with a builder/developer (client-side) – contractor-only profiles will not be considered - Technical Skills:
- Strong in project planning, budgeting, and site execution
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools
- Familiarity with building codes, RCC detailing, finishing timelines, safety norms
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and leadership ability
- Must be proactive, target-driven, and results-oriented
- Capable of managing large teams and delivering under pressure
